Thank you for your interest in the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship, scheduled for May 1-7 at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, NC.
As we begin to prepare for next year’s tournament, please know that we will share details regarding logistics, parking, ticket updates, hospitality news and numerous items regarding the overall scope of the tournament in the next few months. Since we announced our move to Wilmington in March of 2014, we have been in discussions with vendors and organizations in the Wilmington area regarding assistance as we prepare to operate and manage the tournament for one year in 2017.
As news regarding all aspects of the tournament is finalized, we will share with you in a timely manner.
In the meantime, here are answers to some of your questions as you make plans for the 2017 Wells Fargo Championship.
- The Media Credential Application Process will begin February 22, 2017 and the deadline for applying for media credentials will be April 14, 2017. Please keep in mind,
freelance photographers cannot apply and staff members for local TV stations and newspapers must be assigned to cover the tournament by an

- The staff for Champions for Education, the non-profit organization on that manages and operates the Wells Fargo Championship will work out of Charlotte preparing for the upcoming tournament. In early spring of 2017, the tournament staff will make a temporary move to Wilmington.
- We will not start receiving official commitments for the 156-player field until March of 2017. The PGA TOUR players must commit to the tournament by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on Friday, April 28, 2017 and can withdraw from the tournament at any time
